Unable to use updated GIT Windows credentials - Stack Overflow

matteradmin3PV0评论

I want to clone an On-Premise DevOps repository into my computer. I have already done it in a second computer but I am unable to replicate it in my main one. I can access the repository via the browser using my credentials and connecting into the VPN. I have set the Windows Credentials exactly the same on both (in my second computer I get a credential error if I remove the Windows credential) with the format "git:[REPO URL]" with my user and password. However, I keep getting a "fatal: Authentication failed for [REPO URL]" error. I also get this error if I try to pull the repository from the GIT Bash or the GIT GUI.

Is there anything I could be missing? Is there any way that I could specify the username and password in order to make the connection instead of relying on the Windows Credential?
